Bruker Optics, Inc. currently has a position open for a Field Service Engineer based in our Billerica, MA headquarters

• Provide on-site installation, testing and customer training of Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometers.
• Diagnose problems by in-depth troubleshooting and provide service for repair of these complex Optical instruments.
• Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
• Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally.

• Demonstrated capabilities to assure good customer relations through communication skills
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively use hand tools, meters, scopes, and other specialized equipment.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented and self-starter
• ASEE or equivalent and 5 - 7 years electro-mechanical experience OR BSEE or equivalent and 4 - 6 years electro-mechanical experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience in the field service or similar industry.
• Possession of a current driver’s license and passport is required.

• Ability to work independently and exhibit excellent time management skills
