North American FT-NIR Training Courses
Our four-day training course educates NIR users on the details of method development for material identification and quantitative analysis. The course is intended for users of Bruker Optics FT-NIR spectrometers and will focus on the use of the Ident, Quant, OPUSLAB and OPUS/PROCESS packages within the Bruker Optics Opus software package. The course will consist of lectures, hands-on laboratory teaching sessions, and troubleshooting sessions intended to address problems that users are experiencing within their own applications. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own spectral data files, as well as their Ident and Quant method files for personal consultation with our applications personnel.

Prerequisites: A working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system and a familiarity with your Bruker FT-NIR instrument. The basics aspects of the operating system (e.g. copying files, formatting disks, installing printers) can be practiced in the Tutorial provided with the operating system.
Description: The course will consist of lectures, laboratories sessions, and demonstrations which emphasize basic principles of FT-NIR instrumentation, data processing, sampling techniques, the OPUS/IR PC software, and introductory instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Schedule: The course runs from Monday thorugh Thursday.. Classes start at 9:30 am in the mornings
Cost: The cost of the User's Training Course is $1,400 which, includes course materials. If your Bruker FT-NIR spectrometer has been installed within the last 12 months, two tuitions are normally included as part of your purchase (please refer to your system quotation).
