IMAC Macro Imaging Chamber
IMAC offers macro imaging capability for Bruker Optics FT-IR spectrometers.
The IMAC is a purgable external sample cabinet designed for the imaging spectroscopy using modern focal plane array (FPA) detection technology. Using this module large sample areas 2,56 x 2,56 mm (64 x64 FPA) can be analyzed simultaneously at a high spatial resolution (40 µm), while the acquisition time is usually a matter of sec or min. The optical design assures that the focus on the sample is imaged without any distortion on the FPA detector. The IMAC is equipped with the QuickLock plate to use accessories for transmission, reflection and attenuated total reflection (ATR) in it. The detection channel can automatically be switched between the CCD video camera for visible inspection of the sample and the FPA detector for IR imaging analysis. To record average spectra over the complete sample, a single element MCT detector can optionally be installed in parallel to the FPA detector, whereby the switch between both detectors is computer controlled.
- Simultaneous inspection of large samples (2,56 x 2,56 mm) at high spatial resolution (40 µm)
- Accessories for transmission, reflection and attenuated total reflection (ATR) are useable
- Single element MCT can be used in parallel to FPA detector
- Visible inspection via a CCD camera
- Other imaging areas with other FPA detectors (e.g. 5,12 x 5,12 mm set 40 µm resolution with 128 x 128 FPA)
