Bruker Optics B.V., The Netherlands, currently has a position open for a Service Engineer based in our office in Delft.

• Provide on-site installation, testing and customer training of FT-IR, FT-NIR and Raman systems.
• Diagnose problems by in-depth troubleshooting and provide service for repair of these complex Optical instruments.
• Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
• Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally.

• Demonstrated capabilities to assure good customer relations through communication skills
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively use hand tools, meters, scopes, and other specialized equipment.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented and self-starter
• Experience with service of optical and/or electro-mechanical instruments is welcome, but also beginners with an adequate background have a realistic chance
• Possession of a current driver’s license and passport is required.
• We are looking for someone with a great attitude and a professional appearance
• Ability to work independently and exhibit excellent time management skills
